Welcome to the Swedish Pharmaceutical Society

Apotekarsocieteten, the Swedish Pharmaceutical Society, is a non-profit organization for professionals engaged in the field of Pharmaceuticals. The aim of the organization is to support research and innovation in medicines and healthcare, and to promote high professional standards through supporting education and professional development.
With approximately 5 000 individual members, the society is divided into 14 scientific sections, 11 regional divisions and 3 interdisciplinary interest groups.
 
Scientific activities

The scientific profile of the Society will be further strengthened through collaboration with universities, industry, healthcare, pharmacy chains, authorities and other actors, as well as by driving public opinion on important research issues. Through our international collaborations, the Society also contributes to strengthening Swedish research.

European Federation of Medicinal Chemistry (EFMC) 
European Association of Hospital Pharmacists (EAHP)
European Proteomics Association (EuPA).
